Our sweet prophet passed away yesterday evening and I was so sad to hear, but so happy for him too. He is back with his true love and it's hard to be sad when you think of it like that. I remember when he came to LDS Business College and I was attending school there. The students didn't know until about a half hour before. Steve was on his way up to get me and go look at wedding rings. We stayed to listen to the Prophet talk about the school and how it was such an important place to him because it was where his parents met. It was such a sweet talk and so spiritual to be outside listening to it with my sweet almost fiance. We will never forget it or what we felt when he got back in his car and was driven away. Cutest little man with such a large, important job. He was, still is, the best and I'll miss his honest, straight to the point talks.

The after party...
Opening some cool presents from Grandma & Grandpa. His first set of golf clubs! YAY! And a bathketball set which he uses every morning and can already slam dunk. Gets that from his dad, and I pretty much just cheer him on!
I have the best parents. I'm pretty much obsessed with them and think they are the greatest. I would love for them to come visit every weekend. Joe is a such a happier baby with them around.
K not such exciting presents, but thanks grandma & grandpa. Done opening the toys, but mom loves the clothes! Chelsea, mom got him a turtle outfit, thanks!
He is wiped out and finally gave in.
He is the most precious thing and I just can't get enough of sleeping babies. They are the cutest.

Party!
Our little family
That shirt was covered in frosting, such a sweetheart.
K I tried to get a big group picture and it was difficult with the football game on :) and the lack of space. So I took a smaller picture and look at these cute kids. Jack, Ryder, Kena, and Joe. Gotta love em!
MaKenzie just being the mellow perfect little angel that she is! After Joe's party, it was so apparent how lucky we are to live in such a fun place and have such awesome friends. We really appreciate all of you coming and think you are the greatest and have the cutest kids. I know it was cold outside and definitely crowded in our apartment, but it was a blast for our Joe. Thanks!

The Partaaayy!
The actual singing Happy Birthday to our big boy!
OK, so I'm not this cute little crafty mom, but I had to post pictures of the treats. The ones on the left are "golf balls on tees" and Joe's favorite! Then we had some baseballs on the right.
Here's for the show stopper, anyone who knows my dad pretty much knows he is the dang cutest thing ever. He has this amazing artistic ability so I asked if he could frost the cakes. Also anyone who knows my dad also knows that he goes into the kitchen to make eggnog on Christmas night and that is IT! He for the first time probably ever frosted these cakes for his BABY JOE! Me & my mom kind of messed up the soccer ball, but my sweet little dad did these all by himself! I know Mare and Dee you are in shock, but not really cuz him and Joe are 2 peas in a pod.
Joe & his girlfriend Sarah. Sarah was trying to teach him to put the money in the piggy bank. Girls are so smart!
Some of our favorite kids having a free for all! We love parties! Thanks Kera for stepping in to help! You are the cutest, I would've forgotten all about pictures and video taping had you not reminded me!

JK & Ben's first trip to the city!
My parents got into town late Friday night and we went to the yummy Cheesecake Factory. They flew to Washington early Saturday morning for Chelsea's open house so we got the boys all to ourselves!
We took them to Ripley's Believe it or Not at Fisherman's Wharf...some interesting stuff. This is them being funny inside a kaleidoscope.
The boys with Alcatraz in the back, yay baby Joe! He did soooo good. Ben decided he loved the cool weather and didn't take a sweater.
Ben doing some test called the Hot Seat. It was pretty funny because it just vibrated really hard and I told Ben he better not let go, even though I probably couldn't do it. It was fun to have the boys around. Boys will be boys and they spent a lot of time wrestling and watching Sports Center. They were mostly in shock from the city and liked everything about it. Hope they'll come back soon.

12 reasons why we're crazy about our 12 month old!
12. He is the cutest thing we've ever seen.
11. He looks at you out of the corner of his eye all the time, we can never be upset with him when he pulls out the smirk, flirt, "I know something you don't know", look!
10. He has the best laugh and has been known to out of the blue start laughing at people!9. He loves his dad so much that whenever mom's cell phone rings, he yells Da! Da! Daaaaaa! in the background, hoping it's his sweet daddy.
8. He is an allstar boy and can roll a ball back and forth to us, kicks a soccer ball with some assistance, loves his golf clubs that grandma and grandpa so generously got for him, and laughs when he actually tosses a ball.
7. He loves the hymn book and tries to sing during sacrament meeting.6. He is our little doll that adjusts to our schedule, poor thing, but just goes with the flow and we are so grateful for that.
5. He loves playing on our bed and playing hide and seek from mom, with Steve's help.
4. He knows his grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and completely adores them. Joe is a different person around his family. He needs all the attention he can get.3. Joe completes our family. He is a perfect, sweet little boy that his mama and daddy couldn't live without.
2. He loves his mommy no matter how mean she can be. He forgives her so quickly and just keeps loving her.
1. He is the most wonderful gift from God that we have been entrusted with and we couldn't be happier.

Barbie & Ken part III
I can't say thanks enough to Meag & Linds. What troopers...They accidentally drove to the wrong temple and made it to Los Angeles in just enough time to grab the cameras and start taking pics. I am so grateful for such good friends that drop everything to come to a McKeon event...Love you girls! Then Mare & Hilary my wonderful cousins, love you! That cake was yummy! My fabulous parents after a wonderful, long and crazy day! Jack, Jack Jr, Dan and my sexy husband doing playing their air guitars! Steve is pretty much the best ever! He must've known that I would need him more than ever to help with the baby and he just stepped right in. He let me dance the night away and just took the baby around and showed him off. He is the best dad and husband and has surpassed any expectations I've ever had of him. I am so lucky to be his!

Barbie & Ken part I
Chelsea Selina married Benjamin Steven on December 28th. She designed her own dress, and only she could pull it off. We have a pic with our whole family, minus Shuho and Mike. We have one with all our brothers minus Mike, but from left to right:Tim, Dan, Steve, Jack, and Ben(by Chels) and JK(by me). We were unfortunately missing Max & Grace, they got sick on the way to the LA Temple.

The Newport Beach Temple
Steve & Joe with my brother Steve. We just got out of the temple and I was soooo nervous about leaving Joe. I've never left him for that long, I know, ridiculous. On top of that I left him with my 2 brothers, JK 15 and Ben 13. I was so nervous that Joe would be crazy, but they said he was perfect and had a great time outside of the temple playing. What a relief!
Ben and Chelsea...It was hilarious, the session started at 3:00 and Ben kept calling me when him and his family hit traffic and ask if they would make it. It was so sweet, but funny. We were only about 15 minutes ahead of them, so I would reassure him that we just got out of the traffic and he'd be fine...All of the McKeon's run late, so welcome to the family!
Me and my sweet sissy...It was so nice to be able to be with her in the temple, she is the calmest, unemotional girl I've ever known!
The proud grandparents, just as grateful as I was that baby Joe was still in 1 piece!
My wonderful husband...2 years and 5 months ago, we were at the San Diego temple to take out my endowments! My how time flies!

Some last minute preparations...
JK entertaining Joe while I raked some leaves for him.
It really was freezing enough for my mom to be wearing her snow coat. We just kept hoping that the wind would slow down for the wedding, since the reception was in our back yard.
Steve and Ben putting some twinklers in the bushes for Chelsea to try and get the whole Father of the Bride effect!
My brother, JK, right before he literally dumped me into a bush! Nice one...
The 2 love birds putting on the finishing touches.
