JK & Ben's first trip to the city!

My parents got into town late Friday night and we went to the yummy Cheesecake Factory. They flew to Washington early Saturday morning for Chelsea's open house so we got the boys all to ourselves!
We took them to Ripley's Believe it or Not at Fisherman's Wharf...some interesting stuff. This is them being funny inside a kaleidoscope.
The boys with Alcatraz in the back, yay baby Joe! He did soooo good. Ben decided he loved the cool weather and didn't take a sweater.
Ben doing some test called the Hot Seat. It was pretty funny because it just vibrated really hard and I told Ben he better not let go, even though I probably couldn't do it. It was fun to have the boys around. Boys will be boys and they spent a lot of time wrestling and watching Sports Center. They were mostly in shock from the city and liked everything about it. Hope they'll come back soon.

Barbie & Ken part III

I can't say thanks enough to Meag & Linds. What troopers...They accidentally drove to the wrong temple and made it to Los Angeles in just enough time to grab the cameras and start taking pics. I am so grateful for such good friends that drop everything to come to a McKeon event...Love you girls! Then Mare & Hilary my wonderful cousins, love you! That cake was yummy! My fabulous parents after a wonderful, long and crazy day! Jack, Jack Jr, Dan and my sexy husband doing playing their air guitars! Steve is pretty much the best ever! He must've known that I would need him more than ever to help with the baby and he just stepped right in. He let me dance the night away and just took the baby around and showed him off. He is the best dad and husband and has surpassed any expectations I've ever had of him. I am so lucky to be his!

Barbie & Ken part II

Barbie & Ken part I

Chelsea Selina married Benjamin Steven on December 28th. She designed her own dress, and only she could pull it off. We have a pic with our whole family, minus Shuho and Mike. We have one with all our brothers minus Mike, but from left to right:Tim, Dan, Steve, Jack, and Ben(by Chels) and JK(by me). We were unfortunately missing Max & Grace, they got sick on the way to the LA Temple.

The Newport Beach Temple

Steve & Joe with my brother Steve. We just got out of the temple and I was soooo nervous about leaving Joe. I've never left him for that long, I know, ridiculous. On top of that I left him with my 2 brothers, JK 15 and Ben 13. I was so nervous that Joe would be crazy, but they said he was perfect and had a great time outside of the temple playing. What a relief!
Ben and Chelsea...It was hilarious, the session started at 3:00 and Ben kept calling me when him and his family hit traffic and ask if they would make it. It was so sweet, but funny. We were only about 15 minutes ahead of them, so I would reassure him that we just got out of the traffic and he'd be fine...All of the McKeon's run late, so welcome to the family! Me and my sweet sissy...It was so nice to be able to be with her in the temple, she is the calmest, unemotional girl I've ever known!
The proud grandparents, just as grateful as I was that baby Joe was still in 1 piece!
My wonderful husband...2 years and 5 months ago, we were at the San Diego temple to take out my endowments! My how time flies!

Some last minute preparations...

JK entertaining Joe while I raked some leaves for him.
It really was freezing enough for my mom to be wearing her snow coat. We just kept hoping that the wind would slow down for the wedding, since the reception was in our back yard.
Steve and Ben putting some twinklers in the bushes for Chelsea to try and get the whole Father of the Bride effect!
My brother, JK, right before he literally dumped me into a bush! Nice one...
The 2 love birds putting on the finishing touches.

Joe's first Christmas!

Grandma Sue decided to get Joe an outift to match his Grandpa Joe. We loved it and my dad is the most stylish man! They were 2 peas in a pod!
Joe is quite attached to his grandparents, and the feeling goes both ways. What Joe wants, Joe gets!
Playing with his toys from Santa, he didn't like opening the clothes so we opened for him
Eating a snack and watching everyone...We had family over ALL day and Joe just clung to the attention.
My niece, Grace, is such a sweetheart to him and takes great care of him. She is in 1st grade and is a mini Chelsea already. Christmas was great and we loved being here with all of my family and preparing for Chelsea's wedding on the 28th. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Our Utah Trip

I forgot to tell about our fun Utah trip. We went there for Aunt Chelsea's bridal shower and my good friend Kevan and her husband Nate were sealed. Yay! Love you guys! Chelsea wanted some pics outside the temple, I was sooo scared my little sweetie was going to fall down the stairs. Our trip was crazy busy, but these were the only pictures I got. :) I never thought I'd say this, but I kind of miss Utah...We got to stay with our wonderful family in Alpine and they were sooooo much fun. I had the worlds best baby sitters the whole weekend. I got to get ready and take time getting ready, big change! My baby misses the attention and fell instantly in love with my nieces and nephew. Pretty much they are the coolest.

Here is the Baby Elvis costume along with his cousins that dressed up as the coolest dragon ever, beautiful Princess Belle, the most gorgeous Dorothy I've seen, and the heartbreak pimp :) Joe got spoiled with sugar and treats while we were at home. He figured out the ice cream was pretty cold AFTER it was all over his fingers! He had a routine popsicle with Grandpa Joe every night which he absolutely loved. If anyone can believe this, I walked into the living room because baby Joe was laughing and crying and I see MY dad on all fours crawling around after him and growling. If you know my dad, your jaw has probably hit the ground by now in shock. It was so cute, I wish I had my camera out. We really enjoyed ourselves and had tons of fun seeing family and friends while we were in town. Well, there you go Mary Anne, I updated my blog. :) xoxo

K it's been a little bit, and Mare, my wonderful cousin said I needed to update. I don't even know really how to use this thing. These are some highlights from Valencia. Baby Joe with his "buddy" uncles. He met his mama's good friend from elementary school, Chelsea. It was so good to see her. It has been 2 years, but she is so good with keeping in touch. In her planner, there was a pic of us from a Peter Pan play we were in in 2nd grade. She was the alligator and I was a lost boy. It was so cute, I still think she looks the same. We had a ton of fun with my parents but missed Steve a lot. He was a sweetheart to let us go and had gorgeous red roses and treats waiting for us when we got home. More pics to come...

From day one, Joe has been absolutely smitten with his Aunt Chelsea, but who wouldn't be? She's the coolest! He's going to have a hard time sharing her with his soon to be Uncle Ben. December 28th will be the day!
