Joe's first Christmas!

Grandma Sue decided to get Joe an outift to match his Grandpa Joe. We loved it and my dad is the most stylish man! They were 2 peas in a pod!
Joe is quite attached to his grandparents, and the feeling goes both ways. What Joe wants, Joe gets!
Playing with his toys from Santa, he didn't like opening the clothes so we opened for him
Eating a snack and watching everyone...We had family over ALL day and Joe just clung to the attention.
My niece, Grace, is such a sweetheart to him and takes great care of him. She is in 1st grade and is a mini Chelsea already. Christmas was great and we loved being here with all of my family and preparing for Chelsea's wedding on the 28th. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

You better watch out...you better not cry...Santa Claus is coming to town

So we dress up all 3 boys to be matching little elves and what does my little elf do? Go crazy, he was full on arching his back, kicking and screaming. I had to sit on Santa's lap to get one ok picture...Poor boy...but really sweetheart, mom is too big to be telling Santa what she wants...We'll attempt again next year :) Now that I have blogged a week's worth of sooo much fun, we are heading to Valencia for a week of fun, food, manicures, pedicures, and a wedding! YAY!

Mama's Boy is an understatement and some fabulous cooking!

So I needed a picture with Porter Bear and this is my son when I'm holding the baby...When the baby is all by himself, Joe was fine! Poor Joe, he is stuck with his mom ALL day EVERY day and doesn't know what to do when someone else is stuck with her! Steve's dad makes the best coconut shrimp and steak on Christmas Eve, and I begged him to make it for us. It was so yummy, I'm not going to even tell how much I ate and mooched off of my sweet husband's plate or Brad's plate :) Thanks for the food! I gave Joe some lemon at the table and everyone was dying laughing, he caught on and started fake laughing and imitating all of us for about 5 minutes. It was hilarious. He is quite the entertainer!

Keeping up with these 2 boys!

Luke and Joe are 5 months apart. Luke is walking and Joe flies after him. We called Joe SNEAKY the whole trip. He would all of the sudden be across the room in no time. We baby proofed Grandma & Grandpa's with gates and latches but I let the boys go for the stairs now and again. Uncle Mike has a big golf ball bucket that the boys loved. I love my little eskimo, he looks so cute and I can't believe he's almost 1!

The party starts!

YAY! Steve arrived along with Jamie, Will, and their 2 boys Luke and Porter...Porter was blessed on Sunday so we took the opportunity to take a family picture. We were all there and it was so fun. Three grandsons in a year and 3 months. Wow! Don't they look too young to be grandparents?

So relaxing...

Both of Steve's parents work at schools so all day every day, I got to do whatever I wanted...We played with CJ and what a blast that was, he has pretty much the coolest house, Lacy you can come help us when we are looking for a house. Give us all your good ideas! We found puppies with grandma by Costco and we shopped pretty much til we dropped, or should I say til Joe dropped! He was a good sport for me!

What a fabulous present!

We just got back from St George on Tuesday night and are leaving again tomorrow for Valencia...Grandma & Grandpa Jurca's house was fantastic. They got Joe a ball popper and it is so much fun for all of us! I highly recommend it! Steve's mom is an all star English teacher at Dixie Middle School so we went and visited her and she did the rounds at the school with Joe. It was pretty funny...A girl behind me said, "O that girl has a real baby!" While her friend replied, "It must be her little brother!" I guess I looked like I belonged in middle school, thanks to my height :) Uncle Brad found great ways to keep baby Joe out of the cupboards...vaccuum and taking him for a whirl in baskets. Thanks for all the help!

You can just call me elf...

My cousin Deanna put this on her blog and I just about died laughing. I thought it was hilarious so I copied the theme. I sent this letter to my nephew Max:
Dear Max,
Last night while you were sleeping, your mommy, nana, and your coolest Aunts, Jen and Chels took a trip to the North Pole! That's right we went to help Santa get your Christmas ready...He said that you have been SUCH a good boy this year, and he can't wait to visit your house. He really needs you to try hard to do something for him...Can you do it??? He needs you to try to sleep in your big boy bed. He knows it is SO hard. Every good boy loves their mom and loves to cuddle with her. Your cousin baby Joe does it too, but Santa needs your help. Can you be his special helper? You are the best boy Max. In case you don't believe that all of us went last night, here is your proof...I took pictures of us dancing in the snow...go ahead and watch it...Don't tell anyone that we are Santa's secret helpers.
xoxo

Try it out, its pretty entertaining!

I set up!

I finally set up the tree! I was so nervous to put it up considering I have a crazy man! Angela & I visit teach Kristen & Jamie so I experimented at each of their homes. I was trying to get him interested in Kristen's & he wouldn't budge. I figured it was because it was bedtime so he was just extra wiggly on my lap. So, we took him to Jamie's & her tree was very accessible. He would've had to crawl under the cocktail table & come out on the other end & there it would've been. He went under the table, thought that was hilarious, but didn't edge towards the mound of presents! Impressive! So I gave up being the grinch and we decorated our tree. He hasn't crawled towards it once. I'm in shock! I love having it up and I love this time of year! He is very afraid of this little snowman/penguin singing decoration I have. It is pretty funny. We might skip pictures with Santa this year!
