Starting off the vacation right...

Before I come to St George, I always like to plan something fun for myself! It can be pedicures, Cafe Rio, Pizza Factory, the cupcake store, or Krumpets. This time I think I accomplished more than 1 of them :) Starting off the trip with a pedicure. Loved my polish job, but the workers turned on some version of Happy Birthday, but not in English. Everyone was singing and dancing...it was pretty hilarious! Bev and Jamie were dancing right along with them, but I could just not get into it!
YAY! I had to get to St George Thursday night because my parents were driving through to go to Conference with the youth of our ward on Friday and we got to meet up with them for lunch. I love my awesome brothers and they love to add their "special" touch to my daughter
Joe and Uncle JK shooting. JK's pretty much an amazing uncle because he kept feeding money into this stupid thing so Joe could really play, I wouldn't!
Dad and Steve talking golf and football
Mom and Bev talking about their cute grandkids, school and work
Uncle Ben is the coolest in Lynden's eyes! She lights up whenever she seems him and the rest of us think it's pretty funny. He teases her like he does the rest of us and she loves it. Maybe when she can talk she will give it back to him.
Love my mommy and daddy!
Nice picture, but I thought my brothers looked cute so I posted it
This picture should be put in a post of its own, but I'm already months behind on posting so I'll just leave it here! Joe adores his Grandma Sue! He talks about her all the time and talks to her lots on the phone and pretty much says it's her and Aunt Chelsea that are his favorites. When he does things, he will ask if I think Grandma Sue will be proud of him for doing it and if she will appreciate him doing it. I love it and I think it is one of the sweetest relationships!

The 3 buddies reunited!

We got to St George Thursday evening after being stuck at the Hoover Dam forever! Please finish that bridge soon! Ughh! Not fun! These 3 boys are the cutest! They wanted to hike through the jungle, so there they go...
Here they come back over the big boulders
Now back into the jungle...I love it!
Needing a little energy boost they ONLY came in for gatorade
and shark gummies (thanks Grandma Sue!)
And when they were forced to wash up, where they would still play like crazy boys. Even though Joe plays sweet and shy, he can still be a bully!
I love love love these boys! Joe, Luke and Porter you have stolen my heart!

Lynden's first time eating 5 1/2 months

We started Lynden on rice cereal March 29th and she loved it...fatty! Just kidding, but if you saw this girl's booty and thighs she wasn't needing solids anytime soon!
Wait for it, wait for it
Yum, yum, this is great stuff
Making sure to not miss any and lick it off her lips...
One happy baby!
Joe wanted to get in on the action, such an awesome big brother!

Relief Society Lesson

I was asked to teach a lesson in Relief Society at the end of March. They asked me at the end of February and you better believe I was having anxiety about it for 4 weeks and could barely function! I don't like speaking in public and even more than that I don't like teaching to women older than me by a long shot. The lesson was Love and Law by Dallin H Oaks. It was a very complicated lesson for me to teach because a lot of it was on parenting wayward children. I am a parent, but the most wayward Joe has been in his short life of 3 years has been on not eating what we want him to :) I felt a huge amount of inadequacy. I emailed the women I look up to the most in my life, my mom, Chelsea, Steve's mom and my sister in law Julie. My visiting teaching companion read it and gave me some great insight. I surfed friends blogs, paid attention to everything a little closer, and probably lost 5 years off of my life. The weekend of, since I wait until last minute, I had finally settled on my dessert, handout and how I wanted to dress the table. My friend, Chantelle, came to my rescue and since she pretty much laughs through everything she was a great reassurance. The night before we went to her mom's house and for a little background on her, here I go. She's an interior designer and every room in her house looked like a gallery room for Thomasville furniture with the big poofy pillows and bedding and rich dark colors. Her garage, I feel comfortable calling, Michaels or Hobby Lobby. She made me my flower arrangement on the spot and lent me tablecloths, frames, and flowers. Chantelle and I went home made 60 chocolate dipped strawberries and 120 chocolate dipped pretzels. We were up until 1 and she was back at my place at 8 with a Dr Pepper, ready to finish my handouts. She wrote my favorite scripture on little cards and we attached them to the baggies. We were done at 12:15 when I had to shower and get ready for church at 1. I pretty much loved it and learned so much from the lesson. Isn't that the way it always is? The teacher learns the most, or needs the lesson the most!

Easter Egg Hunt

I love Easter Egg Hunts! I love throwing them and all that goes along with it. Here is our setup...I don't think I've seen this much grass since I've been in Arizona! I LOVE this park!

Ready, set, GO!

I loved it that my friend, Jamie, was walking with the video camera, and her husband, Dan, was walking with the camera, and they were shooting both of their boys! Talk about prepared!
The Smith's hunting and the Earnest's hunting
The Forsyth family hunting!
Joe hunting!
Tate hunting and protecting
Lynden and I watching
He found the one with his name on it!
The proud boys with their findings!
All the kids...Jack, Taylor, Jaycee, Joe, Kylie, Emma, Kyle, Parker, Jenna, Jessica...It was so fun! The kids all got 14 eggs and then 1 that had their name on it with a dollar inside.
Why does Betty Crocker always make things seem so easy? As Nichole, Chantelle, and I were "preparing" these bunnies and wondering how on earth their bunny heads (donut holes) were going to stay on their slippery frosting bodies, I was thinking this sounded a lot easier when I was reading the directions :) Fun times girls! Thanks! We had cupcakes, rice krispies, fruit, sandwiches, chips and drinks!
Jed and Steve with their babes
Playing with their findings and acting interested
Nap time

Miss Wendy, Nichole, me and Chantelle

The park had an awesome train ride with an even cooler tunnel! We loved it and Joe was so focused on everything about the train. Such a fun park!
Once again, Forsyth family thanks for making the drive! We love you guys!
Our little family! Thanks so much to all my friends that helped with this! It was so fun to get together and have a party!
I think our kids have inherited the "love for any party" characteristic from me...
both happy campers with their treats!

March Madness

This was my first year ever filling out a draft and I actually did ok on it. We had a fun get together for one of the BYU games. Here's our cute friend Kaylee holding little miss Lynden
Tate and Lynden getting pretty friendly, pretty quickly :)
Joe and Kade
The unhappy group, this was the game BYU lost
Chantelle and Joe and all of the desserts I wanted to make
I love these girls! They have been such sweet friends and I'm glad we live in Arizona at the same time!
