St George August 2010

Steve and I had the opportunity to go to a BYU game with Steve and Bev, so I drove from Valencia to St George for the game and met Steve in Salt Lake. I was able to run into Carlie, Maddie, Abby and Kenz during half time.
On their way to drop me back off at my seat we ran into Hilary. Fun McKeon reunion!
Us after the sweet win!
While it was insane figuring out who would watch our cuties, it was so nice to get to go with Steve. Thanks Sav, Carly, and Harrison for watching them at Lauren's apartment and thanks to Uncle Bruce for coordinating it all!
We got to go to the park with Papa and Grandma
Lynden loves the swings, she stayed in them 3/4 of the time we were there
The park was awesome!
This rock had me a little bit nervous...
It was pretty steep
With Grandma climbing like an absolute pro
I told him that these ropes were spiderwebs shot by Spiderman which is why he is shooting his web at the camera
Not sure who is happier...definitely Joe
Onto a smaller one where Lynden can keep up
Love my inlaws...The stupid flash wouldn't work well enough, but they are so cute together and I just had to snap a picture
Here comes the little missy speed crawling
Ready to call it a night since it's pitch black
Papa cut Joe a lane so he could run super fast like Dash
He loves swinging those arms
Bev said I never have good pictures of her, so here she is makeup and all, ready to go shopping and here's me, no makeup exhausted and ready to shop...there's my pay back
Oh, it felt soooo good outside! I love that everywhere, but Arizona actually cools down and gives you a break from the heat! Joe got to go to school with Grandma and loved it! He still talks about the movie he got to watch. We loved the swing that Grandma Maralyn got for the backyard and loved playing at their house.

Valencia from Aunt Chelsea's eyes

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sista sista. She is going to be the best little momma one day. She took more pictures of the kids than I did! Uncle JK and Uncle Ben put up with a lot of shooting "spidey webs," wanting to be thrown, and being great buddies. I think the weird goggles were Uncle Ben's idea.
Throwing Joe around like he was a rag doll
Helping him boogie board in still water while Aunt Chels relaxed in the shade
Uncle JK made a sweet wave pool and thank you to Uncle Ben for saving Joe before yourself a few times.
I wish I tanned as well as my kids. It must be a Jurca thing. Joe was thrilled to get to go in the grass. Hey, at least he didn't go in the pool!
The thumbs up, making sure I'm watching, still wearing the weird goggles.
 Catch me!
Lynden took quite a few baths in the sink since it was the closest water to where she would eat. She needs to be washed down after every meal!
She figured out how to turn on and off the water and thought she was the smartest thing
Oh my sweet girl, how I love you so much!
Should Steve and I just photoshop our faces into this picture for our Christmas card?! Geez, our kids never smile like that when we are asking for a cheese!
Yes, I know how some people feel about the big flowers, no flowers, or bows, but I love them! Lynden looks adorable with them on so she gets to keep wearing them.
This is what I think a baby Chiquita banana outfit would look like.
Joe adores her, she can do no wrong and unfortunately for me she thinks he can do no wrong
Googly bear, snoopsy poo, best friend, best aunt, Chels...and I'm sure many more nicknames to come
Had to get a picture of her eating...She always turns into such a mess
It's always the same, loves her in the morning, afternoon, and evening and can never get enough attention from just her. Chels and Ben had to go somewhere and when Ben stepped outside, Joe slammed the door so that Chelsea couldn't leave. I'm not sure where they were going, but Joe was not ok with it.
Luckily, Joe really likes his Uncle Ben too, Chelsea the most, but Ben still plays with him a ton. He grabbed my blow dryer as a air gun and here is Joe with his wolverine claws. This was hilarious to watch!
Crawling around like crazy, loving all of the room!
Playing shoot guns...Joe obviously called the shots!
Thanks Chels for the great pictures!

Valencia-August 2010

Pretty much the second I felt able to drive 6 hours by myself, I got in the car, packed off the kids and left! It happened to be an extra treat that Aunt Chelsea and Uncle Ben were there also! I bought this outfit, pre Joe, pre Lynden and was so excited to put her in it...Granted it's still summer, so I only put her in it for a second! Nice one Jen! I have a cute picture of my dad feeding me strawberries when I was younger so when I found this outfit by Hartstrings, I had to have it! Nostalgic reasons!
Love the strawberry cap!
Our kids loved the pool and the never ending attention. I mean, who really gets pulled around on a surfboard in somewhat cold water by 2 of their faves?!
Loving the "boat"
Uncle JK went in everytime with the kids. He is such a lifesaver! I couldn't throw Joe that high, over and over, day after day. We loved it!
Joe loved it and begged for it
Lynden preparing to be like big brother
I didn't know a boogie board could be so entertaining
Having a heart to heart with Uncle JK
The boat was tipping so Joe would swim to "safety"
Hanging out with Grandpa Joe. I wish I had his tan
Uncle Dan also helped providing never ending attention. He always helps Joe expand his imagination whether it be with Santa Claus on the roof...turning the BMW into a pirate ship with the sunroof as a lookout point...and this time the fascination was bear hunting! He got Joe a little nervous so he said these fireworks would scare away the bears.
Uncle Dan being super quick on his feet
If anyone knows my mom, you know she was losing it that Joe was this close to fireworks, but hey, he had to help "scare away the bears!" Oh, Uncle Dan, we sure love you!
I'm assuming Uncle JK didn't know what to do next with Joe so he captured him? Luckily, Joe didn't have the anxiety I would have had if the positions would've been switched.
Uncle Ben taking Lynden for a ride.

Uncle Ben and Lynden are buddies. Their mutual adoration for each other is very apparent. I love it and am really appreciative of it. I didn't know Ben could be so sweet, since he is usually beating me at something or beating me up.
Also I planned this trip to be in town for this sweet lady's baby shower! Britt has always been such a good friend to me and she is going to be blessed with a little princess in September, so this trip happened to be perfectly timed for the knee, the family and my friends!
Has anyone ever put together a 3D puzzle?! Joe was so excited for this Spiderman puzzle, but I got a weird headache from putting it together.
As always, we had such a great time in California. It was fun to get to see friends. Erin came and laid out with Chels and I, Terri and I went to dinner and soon after she got engaged (congrats!), and I got to go see Lindsay's new house. My family was so helpful, especially since the leg was acting up! The kids were quite the troopers and were excellent on the drive there. We missed our daddy like crazy though!
